1. Booking and Confirmation

All bookings are confirmed only after successful payment of the applicable advance or full amount as indicated for the service. Site visits and inspections are free.

2. Cancellation Policy

You may cancel free of charge up to 2 hours before your scheduled slot. Within the 2-hour window, 50% of the advance is refundable.

3. Pricing & GST

GST at 18% is charged separately on the service price. It is never included in the displayed service price. Prices may vary based on property type, furnishing, and area.

4. Service Quality

If you are not satisfied with the work, please raise a complaint within 24 hours via the app or WhatsApp. We will arrange a free re-do or appropriate refund.

5. Pest Control Warranty

Pest control bookings carry a 90-day relapse warranty. If pests of the same category return within 90 days, we re-treat at no charge.

6. Site Visits

For painting, wall panels and interior design, the site visit and the quote are free. Nothing is collected before the work is agreed.

7. Pro Conduct & Safety

All professionals are background-verified. Any safety, conduct, or property damage concern must be reported immediately via WhatsApp or by calling support.

8. Limitation of Liability

Just Knock is liable up to the value of the booking amount in case of damage caused by negligence. Pre-existing damage will be documented before work begins.

9. Who you are contracting with

10. Payments

Payments are collected through Razorpay. We do not store your card, UPI or bank details. A booking is confirmed only when the payment is successful and you receive a confirmation in the app.

11. Service delivery

We provide services at your address; nothing is shipped. Delivery timelines are set out on our Service Delivery Policy page, and cancellations and refunds on our Cancellation & Refunds page.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bengaluru, Karnataka.

What we collect

We collect your name, phone number, email, address(es), and booking history. Payment data is processed via secure third-party gateways and is not stored on our servers.

Who we share with

We share only the minimum necessary information with our professionals — your name, phone, and address — and only for the duration of the active booking.

Your rights

You can edit, export, or delete your account data anytime from Account → Edit Profile. For deletion requests, write to care@justknockcompany.com.

How long we keep it

Booking records are kept for as long as your account is active and for up to 8 years afterwards, because tax law requires it. Everything else is deleted when you delete your account.

How we protect it

Data is sent over an encrypted connection, access is limited to staff who need it, and one-time login codes are never stored in readable form.

Payments

Payments are handled by Razorpay. Card, UPI and bank details are entered on Razorpay's own secure page and never reach our servers.

We reply to complaints within 48 hours and resolve them within 30 days.

Cancellation refunds

• 2+ hours before slot: 100% refund of advance
• Within 2 hours of slot: 50% refund
• After pro is assigned and en route: No refund

Service quality refunds

If the work is unsatisfactory, raise a complaint within 24 hours. We will arrange a free re-do, or if not possible, a partial or full refund based on assessment.

Refund timeline

Approved refunds are processed within 5–7 working days to your original payment method.

Pest control warranty re-treatment

Re-treatment under warranty is free; no money is refunded as the warranty is service-based.

What we deliver

Just Knock Company sells home services, not physical goods. Nothing is shipped or couriered. What you buy is a professional visiting your home or premises at a date and time slot you choose in the app.

Where we deliver

Inside the city limits of Bengaluru, Mysore and Hyderabad only. If your address falls outside these areas, your booking will be cancelled and refunded in full.

When we deliver

• Service slots: every day, 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
• Normal bookings: carried out on the date and slot you picked at checkout.
• Site visits (painting, wall panels, interiors): within 24–48 hours of booking.
• Quote-based jobs: scheduled with you after the site visit, and the dates are written into your quote.

Confirmation

After payment you receive a booking confirmation in the app and on WhatsApp with your booking ID, date, slot and amount paid. The professional's name and number are shared with you before the visit.

If we cannot come

If we have to cancel or cannot reach your address, we offer you the next available slot or refund the full amount paid. Refunds follow our Refund Policy.

The exact price for your home is shown in the app before you pay. It changes with property type, furnishing and area, and you always see the final figure on the bill screen before paying.

Taxes

GST at 18% is added on top of the service price. It is never hidden inside the displayed price.

Site visits

Free for painting, wall panels and interior design. A verified professional comes, measures up and gives you a price. You pay nothing unless you go ahead with the work.

What you pay now

Some services are paid in full at booking; others take an advance and the balance after the work. The bill screen states exactly which applies before you pay.

No hidden charges

There is no booking fee, no convenience fee and no charge for a coupon. Anything extra you ask for on the day is quoted and approved by you in the app before it is added.
